A Love Note To Katherine Center...

 

It's simple. I devour Katherine Center book that ends up in my hands. Now I do read a lot and by a lot I mean usually upwards of 75 books in a year. With that I read books that fall into almost every category. Throw in some dark romance, a murder mystery, rom-coms, and even some non-fiction, you will have what a typical month looks like for me. 

But the world at this time is also very bleak and like most I love finding some nice pretty moments in the day. That is where Katherine Center comes into play. 

Her books are the pretty part of the day and that is what this about. The goodness in these books, and how much you can love the characters. 

One of my favorites has to be What You Wish For... a rom-com based in Galveston Texas. You first meet Samantha, who is a quirky school librarian who takes pride in her job. Then she re-meets Duncan, a school principal that she use to know. The problem is Duncan has changed from the equally quirky principal that she use to know to a strict rule based principal. The problem is that, his rule based attitude clashes with the school. As they both come to terms with their past/present they learn how to love and the best thing to do for the school. The true "goodness" of this book is seen from cover to last page. AND GUESS WHAT?! We need more of that. 

I'm not throwing shade at anyone who likes the dark stuff (if you look at my Goodreads, you will know that I've read my fair share) but there is just something good about these books. The quirkiness of the characters, the fun animal characters, and the love just come out perfectly. 

So yah... Katherine Center, you will have a life long fan. And while I might not be a good at writing this all out as some... I can't get enough of your books.
